Welcome to the official website of the Lancaster, MA Fire, Rescue, & EMS Department. The department has been proudly providing fire suppression, EMS, rescue, and fire prevention services for the Town of Lancaster since 1848. Lancaster was the first town to be incorporated in Worcester County, MA in 1653. Today, Lancaster is comprised of some 7,500 residents and covers an area of about 28 square miles. The department is made up of three full-time Firefighter/EMTs and 30 On-Call Firefighter/EMTs. The department operates out of Two Stations: Center Station (HQ) located at 1055 Main Street, and South Station located at 283 South Main Street. This website is designed to provide information about the services that the department provides. The site is made possible by the Town of Lancaster, MA and the Lancaster Firefighter's Association.
